Blonde Redhead est un trio de rock composé de Kazu Makino et des jumeaux italiens Simone et Amedeo Pace. Leur nom provient d’une chanson de DNA, un groupe « no wave » des années 1970s et 80s de New York. Ils jouent dans différentes langues, dont l’anglais, le japonais, l’italien et le français. Blonde Redhead est un rêve, un trio magique que l’on place au firmament de la pop, planant entre les élucubrations sonores des My Bloody Valentine et les paysages panoramiques des Flaming Lips. Les membres de Blonde Redhead se sont rencontrés par hasard dans un restaurant italien au début des années 1990.
